The assault caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
